Musicam Sacram CMAA chapter
We’re pleased to announce the formation of Musicam Sacram, the East Tennessee chapter of the Church Music Association of America (CMAA). We welcome all those who love Catholic sacred music—from Gregorian chant to Renaissance polyphony and worthy modern compositions that are both beautiful and theologically sound.
On our new website–and with our Google e-mail list–we’ll share information about what local musicians are doing at Mass and in concert, church documents on music and liturgy, U.S. workshops to attend, opportunities to join local choirs and scholas, and what Pope Benedict XVI is doing to spur liturgical reform.
